Comedy Coven XXV: Standup for Sanctuary

  • The Robin Theatre 1105 South Washington Avenue Lansing, MI, 48910 United States (map)

It’s Comedy Coven with a cause! This month’s edition of the witches’ monthly show, entitled “Standup for Sanctuary,” is a special standup showcase benefiting the Refugee Development Center (RDC) of Lansing. Featuring comedy performances by Kathie Dunbar, Suban Nur Cooley, Emily Dievendorf, Mimi Fisher, and the witches themselves, this sure-to-be-hilarious show is part of a full weekend of events supporting the RDC.

Tickets are $10, with additional donations encouraged. All ticket sales and donations will benefit the Refugee Development Center.

The Refugee Development Center is a non-profit grassroots organization that helps refugees in Lansing achieve self-sufficiency and educates the community about refugee issues. To learn more, visit the RDC’s website. If you are unable to attend the show but would still like to donate to the RDC, please do so here.

While you’re at it, here are two more ways to support the RDC after the show:

  • On Sunday, March 12, Strange Matter Coffee Co. will be donating $1 to the RDC for every drink sold. Learn more here.
  • Also on Sunday, March 12, a bake sale and silent auction will take place at The Robin Theatre to benefit the RDC. Learn more here.
